You probably put it in backwards....I don't know much about holsters but you might try flexing the clips out and giving it a forceful shove. Your model is pretty durable.

Are you sure you have the right holster for your device?

I have the one that came in the box with it, I put it in with the screen facing in, to protect the screen, not sure if that is the way it goes, but yeah I got it out finally after pulling it away from it and it was hard though. How do u usually get it out of holster?

Well it needs to be tight so that your device will not fall out when you bump it. It should get easier the more that you use it.

Good luck!

jt, you are using the hard plastic case that "grasps" the BB about the edges? Not a leather holster?

Yeah it is the hard plastic one that comes with the phone, how do I get it out properly? I am putting it in with the screen facing in.

Screen facing in is the proper position. As I said before I think it will loosen up over time. If you are really concerned go to a store and ask if it's normal.

Good Luck!

in the holster, just pull "up" and "out" on it, to remove it, not straight out only.

The plastic holster is very tight when new, in my experience. I found it much easier to remove the blackberry when the holster was on my belt compared to holding the holster in one hand and removing with the other. And as the others said, it does loosen with time; too much, in fact.

It does get easier after a while. I use my thumb to push down on the clip and my fingers to pull out the Blackberry one handed. I did it so many times in one day my thumb was sore.
