Lightbulb Need bb 8703e quick help - 05-05-2008, 06:17 PM

I am sure this has been asked many times, I am looking for a bb and really like the 8703e model but have a couple questions. I have Verizon and am looking at the $30/month addition.. I have a gmail account and want to know if this plan will allow me to add my gmail account ?
I would like to know about "push" too.. With this plan allow me to receive my emails instantly or will i have to wait 15minutes ?
Last Question.. can you explain what "wi-fi" on a phone is.. this model does not have it and I dont know why that is important, i can still view web pages and get email.. so whats the benefit ?
thanks a lot

I'm not familiar with verizon plans, but I assume you are talking about BIS. In that case, you would be able to add up to 10 email addresses to you BIS setup. Gmail, yahoo mail and your blackberry.net address (if you choose to set that up) will be pushed to the blackberry almost instantly. Other email accounts are polled on at an interval of about 15 minutes.

Welcome to BBF. Look over the main page of the forum and you will see all the categories and sub-forums. There is a forum for the 8800 series.
