I have a client that has an AT&T series 8700 blackberry. He has a mysterious icon in the notification area. It has a number before it and it appears to look like a calendar but I can't find this icon in any of the bb literature I have looked at.

The icon is below the 'E' in EDGE and to the right of the new message indicator icon.

I can't seem to relate this to any of his calendar entries. Would anyone have any idea what this icon would be referring to? I searched the forums but couldn't locate a post about this icon.

Has you user gone to Messages > Veiw Folders and looked in each of those folders for the new message or alert? It would be in one of those (exceot voicemail).
