Start here:

How do I wipe the BlackBerry using Jl Cmder? - BlackBerryFAQ

If that fails go here:

What to do next if Jl Cmder will not connect and wipe - BlackBerryFAQ

(If it doesn't work keep trying it's all in the timing of boot sequence)

Then go here:

How do I upgrade the OS on my BlackBerry? - BlackBerryFAQ

Good luck and be patient it will take a long time with lot's of re-boots. DO NOT disconnect until it is done.

And sorry to say but yes your data is gone. Sorry!

jl commander can take between 1 and an infinite number of tries, but nearly all problems can be solved with a wipe/reload.

This OS will work fine on the device as long as you follow the directions posted in the initial post...

I believe the user hit a roadblock on the FAQ link to the etisalat OS download in the FAQ.

Oh, now you ask a good one.

Your carrier settings are key to this... don't ask me for details, but if you have questions, post back here and someone might be able to help you , but with Etisalat, hopefiully it will work.
