Default Step by step Sync FAQ? - 05-08-2008, 07:34 AM

New to Blackberry (8703e Verizon) and having difficulties with synching to my Outlook. The unit is setup and works as it should. When I try to sync I get an "unknown error" message from Intellisync.

Is there a step by step setup doc somewhere?

I don't know of one specific to that, there is one on Mapping fields from the BB to Outlook.

Where in the process does your unknown error occur--upon connection to the DM, upon initializing the sync, in the middle of the sync?

Have you checked the sync log for errors?

The error occurs a few seconds after I hit the sync button, the root configuration name box comes up, then the error box shows up.

I cannot acccess the sync log as the button is not an active button?
