i have a big problem with 8700g (t-mobile )


its not detacted any network (also not call emergancy ) !!

if you make emergancy call the mobile show message ("WAIT.........") AND nothing else !!!


i have many pcs of this model(8700g) and all work fine ..except this one


p.s: about band ...our band is 900mhz & also i know this mobile support this band



plz ...is this software problem ??? if yes how solve ??

or this hardware problem ?? aslo how solve ??

or this one need change its band ?? aslo how ?



i hope you will help me as fast time

the O.S of my blackberry is "4.2.1.107 " ...also i make wipe & load soft again

i didnt understand your quesion exactly ... but if i try to make any call (for EX. emergancy call ) or make search for available network ... mobile show "WAIT .................." AND after some time its show " TIME OUT WAITING FOR RADIO."

there is no SIM in the device or the device isnt recognizing the SIM



"Insert SIM" is the answer

yes in the first minuts " searching for network ..." and after some minuts " no service "

already doing "wipe using JL-CMDER" & load a latest O.S & result not solved

Does that SIM card have a valid account associated with it? Is that the SIM that came with the device or did you switch it over from a different device?

YES SIR SIM CARD IS WORK FINE (MY PERSSONAL SIM )

ASLO THIS mobile is unlocked by me (using code from T-MOBILE ) AS I DOING EVERY DAY

NOW ,,,,IM sure its HARDWARE problem sir


can i find hardware "Schematic" for this model inside this great forum??

you wont find a complete schematic anywhere. the device is toast. you can get 8700s pretty cheap

in the begining i think that this soft problem l(like we find in nokia & solved by programs )


but after i saw the answers of teachers here ......... i understand that no soft for network & that this is a hardware problem

Sorry, but I think Sith is correct. And it is almost a certainty that you are better off buying another 8700 than attempting to repair it or paying to have it repaired.

Don't hesitate to ask questions (but always search first).
