I received a BB back from a user and I was attempting to wipe and update it so I could issue it to another user. In the process of doing so, the screen faded out to white. I performed a full nuke and reloaded the most recent OS from Verizon's site. (I ended up doing this 2 more times) I thought it was fixed, worked fine for about an hour then did it again. this time it faded to purple first then white. The only way I could get the display back was to either pop out the battery or reboot it (alt cap del). It would be ok for a few minutes then presto the screen slowly faded to white. I think the screen is shot. Anyway, called Verizon and then are sending me a replacement with no issues. Just wanted to share so someone else could save pulling their hair out for another occassion.
