Default help about 2007 dts patch - 06-23-2008, 07:28 AM

hi ~everybody

I get a old bb form B2C website. On the screen have a icon -"push to talk" and in the setting-options have a "2007 dts patch",click wheel disaplay 2007 dts patch applied, when i try to change time/date of BB and save it ,but the time/date also shows as before,so i can't change BB's time or data! how can i delete this patch?

Upgrade the OS on the BB.

But the DST patch won't keep you from changing the date/time on the device. I don't know why you couldn't save your changes, but the DST patch has no affect on that.

when i run appolication loader i find a cod file with " net_rim_bb_timezoneotapatcher",look at this filename i think maybe it cause can't save changes.?

Upgrade the OS to 101CSL support chinese but it also can't change data/time on bb

it's time 1970.1.1 can't by changed

This is strange.

You can delete the "net_rim_bb_timezoneotapatcher" cod file before loading the OS.

Likely this device has an old corporate IT Policy on it...

OH when i delete that file display "error ......" before load new os.

on bb setting-options-security options-general settings seems that no IT Policy .
