Default Synch question (newb) - 06-25-2008, 11:52 PM

Is there a way of synchronizing BB 8700 with Web Access Outlook? I was assign a corporate email recently, and would like to synch the calendar with my personal BB. Thanks, I understand this might be a dumb question, but kinda new to this.

Not Web Outlook but you should be able to sync with outlook on your PC. Need to install Desktop Manager on the PC however and use the data cable. Or, if the company has BES, then you can sync wirelessly.

We do have BES, but I have no idea how that works, do I need to speak to IT people, or do I just go ahead and set it up on my BB? Lets keep in mind this is my personal BB, not provided by company.

I never recommend putting a personal BB on a company BES. Many companies restrict what you can and cannot do with the BB. And anything personal is no longer personal.

Talk to IT and see if they allow POP access to email. If so, get the setting and set it up in BIS.
