If you entered the password wrong 10 times, that means your BB has been wiped clean of all information. Check the 8700 series forum for the sticky with the latest OS, download it, and use DM's apploader to reload your OS.

Yes, it will work. 507 just means no OS on the device.

Didn't they unlock it or give you the password? It's weird that it wiped the OS. Normally after 10 times it just resets to factory state. Anyway, follow the instructions to load the OS and cross your fingers!

I also find it wierd that the bad password made it do this.

It "includes" Chinese. All releases include English.

Jimbobs....the questions you've been asking could be found easily by use of our "search" button. It's at the top in red and you can type in keywords there and find almost anything you're looking for.

They are ALL in English. Every download is in English. They have additional languages, but they all are in English.

Download Desktop Manager and start there.

READ THE THREAD. IT IS ALL IN HERE.

Jimbob's....please search. Your questions have been asked and answered hundreds of times on the forum.

No, installing new software will NOT unlock your phone.
