Default Just a dumb Theme question - 07-18-2008, 12:48 PM

Hi I am new to the 8700c family (just got it on last Wednesday)...
I am using the Dimension Today theme that i find as a cool one.

i would like to add to the mail screen either my name or my phone number...is there a way to do it?

Can you explain your need more clearly?

Do you mean you want your phone number and name to show in the Mail folder?

Ahh.. no what i would like is to see on my main screen my phone number....on the top or what ever like you see the date...on the top...

That would be theme-controlled and need to added by creating a new or editing the theme.

However, if you are wanting to accomplish something like an "owners screen", go to Options > Owner and enter the information here. Then anytime you lock your device... that info appears to the casual viewer.

Thanks a lot, I guess the Owner thing will work...

how do i edit a theme? do i need to download an application for that?

Yea, I don't build themes. Themebuilder is needed.
