When I plug my phone into the charger, it goes to a white screen and i have to hit the power button for it to turn on. The battery isn't even that low for it shut off. What should I do?

First in any problem, glitch or issue with a BlackBerry, remove the battery with the device powered on (don't turn it off first). Hold a minute and replace the battery to reboot.
