mine is same like 8700C as i think its cingular thats why its C and also there is some sort of error like ERROR:507 i think its the flashing trouble i'll this version for sure and mention again what happen after upgrade

Error 507 just means the OS needs to be reloaded.

Sorry to ask again, but no one PM me.
I have been bussy with my new Curve, but i dont want leave behind my dearest 8700g.

Could anyone upload the OS 4.5.0.81 to another server different from RIM, they dont allow my IP to download from there.

You mean 8700. For the 8700G he gives you 4.2.

Hi, I have a 8700c but the media manager doesn't recgnize it,I can do evry thing, back up, load/download programs, syncronize etc but I just can't use the media manager? what can I do. I never erased the vendor.xml file when I instaled the OS. Thanks

What OS is on your 8700c? Media Manager requires 4.2 or higher. Even then, you can only put files smaller than 2.86MB on the 8700. It's just not a media device.

does anybody know where to find the language file on the 8700 to be able to pull it from the device and use it on a different device? thanks

What device and what languages are you wanting it for? Generally, taking .cod files from one device type and moving them into another device is not a good idea. Some are interchaneable and some aren't.

i want italian and portugese from my 8700 with tmobile and use them on my 8830 with verizon.

Then you need to find an OS for the 8830 that's "MultiLanguage." You can't take files from the 8700 OS and use them in the 8830 OS.
