Exclamation No Browser? - 08-27-2008, 09:15 PM

My 8700r is able to access the browser many ways, but I cannot use it because I don't have a subscription to DATA. And I do not intend to subscribe yet, because I do not have a job.

So, I got wondering on why I do not have a browser icon on my menu screen.
I took at look at my brothers 8330, and I see his icon no problem... Is it because I have a different carrier?
My carrier is Rogers.
And my brothers is Telus.

He said that before he say the browser icon before he gave it to me..
But I didn't do anything to my blackberry expect put on the Windows Live Messenger Application, to test it out and see if it works so I have something to use Data for.

So, to conclude this long story... Is it I cannot see my Browser icon, because my carrier is Rogers? Or did it dissappear?

I don't think you will get the BB browser until you get a BB dataplan. No dataplan, no browser, so you really don't need it do you?

Wirelessly posted (Breaking Ball)

You need a blackberry data plan and then the browser service book will be wirelessly delivered to your device.
