Default How to selective restore Messenger DB - 09-02-2008, 11:48 AM

Hello.
I had to wipe my BB and I want to make a selective restore to import the BB DB but it's grayed out and I cannot select it.
Can any one please help me?
Thank you

Normally if the option is grayed out like that, it means that it is wirelessly reconciled. What are you trying to restore?

jsconyers is correct. That means you BBMessenger database is wireless reconciled with your BES. Try this: Go to Options >Advanced Options >Service Book. Delete the [Desktop] Sync service book. Then restore the BBMessenger database. Then go back and undelete the service books. If for some reason you can't undelete, then worst case is you reactivate on the BES.

By going back into service books and hitting the menu key and selecting "undelete." However, it's possible that if the device reboots you won't have the option to undelete. But, as I said, worst case is you reactivate on the BES.

I just was looking at the list of service books. I wonder if it's the [Desktop] BBIM service book....
