My sources @ Rogers indicate that a release date for Early October is Planned, maybe even late September.

This is unconfirmed by any other source however.

My source that works with Rogers and for RIM said that Rogers will have them for sale by the end of November although the dates are tentative. No word on pricing yet.

Would you mind telling us 'what' is going to be released? 7105? 8700?

to add, TMO will be releasing the 8700 series in Q1 - supposedly early (so i'm guessing early to mid January).

Considering this is in the 8700 series forum I though it would be implicit. In any case, I was referring to the 8700.

Cingular's flavor is to be released late October or early November. I've seen one at a RIM / Cingular road show. It is fast and sweet!

I have heard guesses of October through January for Cingular launch. Anyone on the inside have a more recent guess?

When this message was first posted, there wasn't even an 8700 forums here. It was in the general forum. As well, the 7100g on Rogers has just been released, and I am almost sure the person who told Guess about a release date was talking about the 7100g as it was the first in line to get released over the other Blackberry handhelds coming down the pipe.

I think people assume that because of all the hype of the 8700 lately, everything posted as far as dates are in respect to it, as opposed to other products which are being released before the 8700.

Actually Corey, it was the 8700 series Forum when I posted my message for the release date of 8700 on Rogers.

BlackBerryForums.com : Your Number One BlackBerry Community > BlackBerry General Forums > General 8700 Series Discussion > General Release Dates.

Regardless, if you feel the need to always be right then you can be right. I really don't care.

It wasn't in here when I asked what was going to be released... it was in the General forum. But either way... I don't think you are right about the Rogers release date...

I will have a definate answer on Sunday... I am going to the Rogers Q4 party.

cd.
