One slightly annoying problem with my 8700g is there's a small piece of lint on the LCD cover. I don't know what the terminology is, but it's the clear plastic cover that has the "T-Mobile" logo on it.

It looks as if there's a way to lift it off, but I don't want to do that and risk breaking it. How do I go about lifting it off, hopefully without needing screwdrivers to take the whole thing apart just to fix one issue?
