Default 8707V Upgrade Quiries :S - 07-20-2009, 12:14 PM

Firstly, Hello everyone, Im new so Hey!. Ok, I have a Blackberry 8707v which was originally on Vodaphone, but is unlocked and being used on Orange UK. I want to upgrade the OS on the phone to the latest release but i am worried the phone will be no longer unlocked after a upgrade.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Once a phone is unlocked, it can't be relocked. Upgrading the OS will not lock the phone.

Welcome to the forums.

Once a device is unlocked, it's permanently unlocked. Upgrading the OS will not lock the device.


The difference between stupidity and genius is that genius has its limits.
When you take things for granted, the things you are granted, get taken.
Even a mosquito doesn't get a pat on the back until it starts to work.

Btw, To find your pin, the way i use is open a new txt message and type in mypin then space and it will show. Just saw you dont know how to from ur Profile
