Post Resetting to Company Default - 09-16-2009, 07:21 AM

I own a Blackberry 8700g, which was registered under my corporate scheme. The phone displays the carrier logo and was configured for the security policies of the organization.
Unfortunately while leaving the organzation, the IT policies were not not removed from the server. Now I changed the carrier, upgrade to latest version, wiped handset, but the IT policies are still existing on the handheld. The website says that the handheld need to be reset to factory defaults to wipe the IT policy.
Does anyone have any details / documentation on how I can do the same.

Just remove the IT policy from your device.

Go to BlackBerryFAQ link on top of this page and then refer to Internet Email FAQ > General FAQ's and click on Remove IT Policy link to get the details to remove it from your device.

Remove IT Policy: Remove IT Policy - BlackBerryFAQ

The branding cannot be removed from the device, even if you're using the device (unlocked) on another carrier.
