Default 8700G Downgrade Help Please!! - 09-19-2009, 06:13 AM

So i upgraded to the latest version of blackberry 4.5, but as a matter of fact, thats not as good as I hoped it would be, with not too many updates, that wud make me keep it, yet making it all the more slower.

So well here i am, in the need to downgrade my phone to 4.2, but I just cant find the older firmware, by T-Mobile!

Ive looked everywhere on google for it but, just couldnt find it. Does anyone know any site or anything where I can download the older version, I would really appreciate it!

And yea I dont have that firmware on my computer, well I think I dont, coz I've restored my computer and lost all the data a couple of times!

Also, if you go the bottom of the "Latest OS" sticky for the 8700, there is a link to the previous OS-keep clicking that bottom link each time you open a new OS thread, until you get to the one you want.

1st Step in Troubleshooting: Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan?
2nd Step in Troubleshooting: Pull the Battery.
