Default Using BB 8700 as a regular phone - 10-17-2009, 05:33 AM

Greetings,
I got a at&t 8700 BB from a friend and would like to use it since i am a at&t subscriber. I would like to try out the actual device before I decide whether to buy the service. I want to see how I like using the address book, calendar, etc.

Can anyone tell me if i need to unlock anything or can i just put in my SIM card and go?

Thanks,
M

Wirelessly posted (overwhelmingly stressed)

If you are with ATT as well just slip your sim card in

You won't get email or internet or be able to use any data services but should work as a phone and for text

If you want to use calendar and contacts to sync with Outlook on your PC, then download Desktop Manager
