Unless the 8700c is unlocked, you'll get no speed on the internet via TMO service (don't think locked Cingular devices work on TMO).

Works great though EDGE coverage definitely varies by market on T-Mo since it's not fully implemented as I understand.

Where is the best place to get an unlocked 8700c in terms of low costs.
EBay has some outrageous auctions now.

Excuse my noob'ness, but I have a very basic question about an unlocked 8700c on T-Mo. Do you have a full HTML browser for use on T-Mo's network? What do you have to do to get a full HTML browser on this device?

How did the T-Mo HTML browser end up on your unlocked 8700c? Was this done over the air? Again, I'm brand new to BB. Thanks!

I live in manhatten and I have gotten great speeds full EDGE network connection everywhere so far from the village all they upto 168th street. Have not traveled outside of Manhatten with my new 8700c/t yet, but will be going to socal next week I expect to have good results.

The combination of increased data rates with EDGE and the faster intel processor in the 8700c makes web browsing a TOTALLY different experience. Browsing the web is acutally possible and is no longer painfull!
