Default Ordered my 8700c today - 2 questions - 12-10-2005, 03:17 PM

I'm sure these are answered elsewhere but I wanted a recent opinion and had trouble finding answers in my search. I just ordered my 8700c and I use a powerbook G4 so I was thinking about buying pocket mac, do any of youo mac users recomend anything else or is pocket mac the best program out there. Also any reports of success syncing with the 8700? Secondly, I'm sure this is not possible but worth asking - is the 8700 able to sync via bluetooth with my powerbook, just to reconcile the contacts, calender, etc.

Thanks in advance.

I guess a fellow Mac user needs to lend some help here...

Do a search in this forum-- you'll see several people report great success with PocketMac.

Don't think Bluetooth sync has been accomplished yet- or at least not on a Mac.

Pocket Mac works great...haven't tried to sync via Bluetooth. I'll try and let you know.

As trstack pointed out PocketMac does work well. However, Bluetooth sync will not work. You can pair it with the PowerBook, but no syncing.
