Default IM+ icon still there after uninstall how can i delete that icon? - 12-10-2005, 05:36 PM

Is hiding it the only way of getting rid of the icon?

Did you reboot the BB after the uninstall?

If rebooting does not do it take the battery out.

tried both rebooting and taking the battery out no go. Its jus the icon image is still there because if i try to lauch it it says module not found.

You just have to delete the application from the application list in the options menu.

Also, if it doesn't show up in the application list under the setting/options/applications click the wheel while at the application screen and select modules from the menu that drops down and look in there and delete the modules that exist for IM+. I had to do the for a program that wouldn't get rid of it's icon in the application folder on the home screen after it was uninstalled.

Yep, that did it thanks! Anyone know if shortcut keys can be assign to apps?
