Hi.. just picked up the Cingular 8700C today. First time BB user, so not too familiar with UI and software. I can sync fine via bluetooth to my comp, but I cant get the application loader to detect my device. I have it connected via Bluetooth and USB, but its not recognizing it as it shows only Com1 and Com3 but neither connects. Im assuming I will need to get this to work before I can use any 3rd party software right?
1. Whats a good site to DL software?
2. What are essential programs for the BB?
3. How do I load tones and pictures onto my device?
4. Where can I find a case for the 8700?

Ive used Palm, PPC, and UIQ (P910a) in the past, but never a BB. Any help would be appreciated.
