I am one of those people, and have done the walk out to another provider for a phone/device, and I always come back to VZW due to the reliabilty and network quality. A side note- Since I have spent much time in TMO and Cingular stores in my area I find it interesting that they both are always saying to me
"Our coverage has improved and we are as good or better then VZW now" They have never compared themselves to each other, always to VZW network.
To me that says it all.
