When my 8700 rings, the tones are the equivalent of 'medium' even when the profile is set to high... anyone else notice this?

Yes this is a comfirmed bug. The work around is to make a speakerphone call and turn the volume all the way up with the click wheel. The draw back is if you turn your speaker back down then it won't be as loud again.
