Default How to determine "Blackberry IPModem" BES Setting - 02-10-2006, 10:24 AM

In trying to setup my BB 8700 as a modem, I know that the Blackberry IPModem setting has to be enabled by my BES admin. My question is (since I cannot ask him/her directly): Is there any way I can determine this for myself (from my device or desktop)? In other words, if this has been disabled, what will the signs/symptoms be?
