Not a "TMO" thing but rather a "you haven't yet downloaded the TMO OS .284 from the Internet and installed it on your computer" thing.

Just a friendly guess.

This link will get you the OS package.

This is what happened:
1. I followed the instructions on jibi's page to edit BlackBerry.alx

I'm pretty sure I did it correctly, because I did the same thing on another 8700g on a different computer hours ago, and it worked just fine.

2. When I started Desk Manager after the edit, it did not prompt me to update the Core Components. So I went into Aplication Loader Wizard and clicked Next, based on jibi's instructions on the same page.

3. The following error pops up:

*Invalid Configuration*
The application "Browser" cannot be loaded, because it reuires the following applications that are not available:

net.rim.blackberry.xml

Anyone has any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks in advance!

I have the same problem on a TMO 8700. Reloading the original OS didn't help, still have the same problem.

Any ideas?

Thanks

In my experience, it was caused by an improper edit of the Blackberry.alx file. When you edited out the vendor ID from the theme you were unlocking, did you leave the > mark at the end? (I guess that is called a chevron.) You have to leave that at the end of each edited line.
