Default Pocketday - 04-22-2006, 01:32 PM

This is such a great app. for daily activities I'm not sure why I didn't load it sooner. I've been on this forum for a little while now but for some reason really didn't know much about this program. Did the DL last night and been playing with it since. Very cool. Sorry to take up space here just thought there may be more out there that may have overlooked this great little program like I did.

I do have a question on this though....when looking at the calendar in month view it shows the next day than what the cursor is on. Meaning if I have the cursor on Friday it shows Saturday appointments. Is this normal?

This happened to me just once in months of use. Click to Close (not just hide) Pocketday. Do a reboot if necessary. It should solve itself.

BBToday is indeed free. But there is really no comparison in terms of sophistications and capabilities. You get a full-functioning 30 day trial for PocketDay so you can download and make the comparison yourself.

I also had this problem but it turns out that i had my date and time was set to reflect the network and the Nextel network is one day ahead for some reason. I changed the date and time setting to Balckberry and that solved my problem.

Is there a way when setting appointments to have the default as "none" for reminder?

Unfortunately not; I would like to see that added to Preferences.
At this time I'm not a fan of using PocketDay to create appointments anyway. Instead I have the "L" hotkey mapped in PocketDay and go into Calendar to create them. If you try creating an All-day appointment in PocketDay and then view it in Calendar, you will see that the results are not too satisfactory. At least on my 8700, the All-day appointment is sitting around 2 pm instead of at the top of the screen.
They are so good at updating their software that hopefully both of these issues will be addressed. (Hint...)

I don't know. I just didn't do it for me. Maybe it was just me. I didn't like the ever-scrolling window and the layout seemed cheap (and ghetto). Eh, whatever. YMMV.
