Would you believe I have had my 8700 and I have been trying to get that darn thing in the case provided and it would never go down, everything would turn on...etc

I am at my bros.-in-law today and I see this black thing on the counter, I ask what it is, he said his BB. I took it out.

woulnt u know it, you are supposed to put it in with the face facing down...

Actually not as bad of a holster as I thought. But I do wanna get a new one.
Any recommendations based on this? It is hard because I like a case, but I like the looks of a phone? So would that mean a pouch?

I was looking at the Krusell Cabriolet AND the Krusell ? (the CAbriolet with the flip down cover). I know they are not pouches tho. I am not sure if that second type where it is in a book makes it hard to talk and type with it flipping all over the place...i.e. more protection, good looks, but inconvenient

I especially liked on Cingular had. A plain pouch, leather, not round like Tmo's with velvet inside, except that clip slid up off of my belt. I dont know if it was just one belt or if it was a returned item OR if that is the way that case is. Maybe I'll try the one that looks like that online.

Any recommendations?

Thank You so much

(Anyone ever done what I did...fitting it in backward?) LOL

There are lots of threads on cases. The Forte vertical case has generated some excitement as reviewed by lgreenberg here. It might be especially nice with the heavy duty clip as ordered by ragin cajun.
An alternative is to get a much better holster. I just ordered the one from Seidio as reviewed by lgreenberg here and seattle18 here. Note that you have to specify whether it is for the 8700c (also good for the 8700r) or the 8700g.
If you want a flip case, the Piel Frama reviewed by Seattle18 looks nice by pricey.
There are many more. Check the BBF Reviews Forum, or, as the green superhero suggest below, his website.

Check out my web site (the link is in my signature.)

I've reviewed over a dozen cases.
