Try turning wireless off and then back on. If that doesn't work, try a hard reset.

Typically, it's a carrier issue. Lower-case "edge" means it's searching for EDGE. If the hard reset doesn't work, you'll just have to wait until the carrier fixes whatever issue it's having. I have it happen every now and again, and it's rare that it takes long to fix.

And when in doubt, there's always the search button... ;)

If you have a data plan with the carrier, turn "off and than on" the antenna will usually get the "EDGE" back, if not, power off the BB and remove battery to do a re-set, if that doesn't work, re-send the service book from the carrier web site, or the BB, of course the last resort, call the carrier.

When in doubt pull the freakin battery. All is well. As with multiple answers here, I did use the Search function and it yielded multiple answers as well.

How would you re-send the service book from the bb or t-mobile? other than calling

Thanks

Log into your carriers BIS website and do it yourself.
