I honestly don't know what the hell's going on. I used jibi's blackberry.alx file, deleted vendor.xml, everything seems to get picked up but for some reason, I still can't view trad. chinese text.

bobhammer - which of the chinese options did you select?

Is this what you looking for, just install the 4.1.0.371 chinese version, traditional chinese display is now 100% correct, also zen theme is not lock with the default "BLACKBERRY.ALX" file, you can change the language within email and notepad.

Thanks JIBI for the link.

As a shameful ABC who can barely recall what she's learned in CHIN1002 two years ago in one semester...

This scares me. And makes me want to bury my head in my textbook and the World Journal to learn all over again.

I guess the BB keyboard functions the same way a normal keyboard does as far as input goes?

Time to purchase those stickies for the keystrokes... but for the BB!

Ditto bobhammer though my simplified isn't quite up to snuff, which leads me to my next question, is it possible to get trad chinese menus? And also, even if I pick traditional chinese as my font, set the menu as english, my chinese text is still not showing up. Ugh. Back to playing with it.

I'm still running the Telstra OS on my BlackBerry. Any major differences with the StarHub OS such as sound, speed, etc...?

StarHub is a wireless provider. You can load the StarHub OS on your 8700c if you choose to do so.

I would give my left nut to be able to input Japanese.
Does anybody know any way to do this without having the BES available?
(I am willing to pay for the software, but would like to avoid subscription services)
