Just recently, I have not been able to view my Gmail account through my internet browser in anything but "Basic HTML" mode. Even though I select "Switch to standard view", it will only display the page in "Basic HTML".

I even tried scrolling down to the bottom of the page and selected "standard", next to Gmail view:, and no luck. the page still loads in "Basic HTML".

Any ideas?? I am stumped.

Just out of curiosity, but when you log into Gmail through your computer browser, you can select standard view or basic html at the bottom of your inbox, under where it tells you the size of your inbox. What do you have selected there?

The GMAIL VIEW is currently set as: standard with chat (ON MY LAPTOP).

There is no reason you can not view it differently on the Blackberry, and for the past 2 months I have been able to view it in standard mode. Just recently, it will not view in anything but 'basic HTML', as many times as I click on and select, 'switch to standard view'.

The reason that this is an issue is, I can't download my attachments in the 'basic HTML' view, and that is a problem.

Options-Browser Configurations, are set as the following:
Emulation Mode: Microsoft IE

CHECKED
Support HTML tables
Use Foreground and background colors
Support JavaScript
Allow Java Popups

Another thing.....

Settings can only be changed in 'standard view'.

Clicking on 'Switch to standard view' reloads the page in 'basic HTML". Rats.
