Hi all! First time poster. I'm trying to connect my 8700C as a modem. I went through all the steps for Cingular Orange. I updated my phone to OS 4.1. I'm stopped with error message: TCP/IP CP reported error 736: The remote computer terminated the control protocol.

I've done a search for error 736 with no results. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

I also have some tethering instructions in my tips doc at my site. You will find the other info helpful too. Please look around the forums and the stickies and you will learn alot of basics.

Success!!! Turns out that I had the wrong Extra Initializtion Command entered. Thanks for the advice.
