Is this a blackberry or a network setting ? The phone only rings for approx 10 secs before diverting to answerphone so I often miss the caller. Is there a way of altering this?

You would need to call your Service Provider and have your settings changed.

I think there's a way to send a string from the phone to the carrier but ya, calling your carrier is the easiest way.
