Default BES Email Format - 05-12-2006, 09:12 AM

I was wondering if there is any way to set BES so that when emails are sent from my BB it will be formated in the same way as my default Outlook settings (ie: not plain text, but rather HTML with my default font and complete default signature).

In other words, not make it obvious that a message is coming from my BB.

Sorry, no. The BlackBerry only sends messages as plain text at this time.

Blackberry receives and sends plain text is fine. But the plain text content is NOT the content given under "plain/text" content type in the e-mail. Its displaying the stripped html portion of the "plain/html" content of the email. Am not sure if BES is the culprit here--it is not sending the actual "plain/text" part of the e-mail. any suggestions. I see ppl talking abt this problem but I havent found any solutions.

Do you have any reference on how to fine tune/configure the blackberry server (BES) for setting the email format that blackberry device receive?

Thanks for your time and help.
