Thumbs up This fixed my problem with not being able to use my 8700C inside my home - 05-21-2006, 02:10 PM

I ordered this from my local Radio Shack with the understanding if it didn't work I could return it. Ain't no way he is getting it back. It works great!

I've had one for about a year and it works well but only covers one level of my house. Its all good though.

Wow, works in the car also...

Why don't carriers invest in this type technology? This has to be cheaper than installing new towers and all they would need is to selectively put a few of these in a bad reception area. What am I missing?

There are devices that they install in buildings and similar areas to boost signals. A bad reception area would require so many that towers are a better idea...
