hey,
i am new to 8700r ,
i tried to download yahoo messenger with BB,
but there was error....
any advice to solve this problem

thanks dear,

Yahoo messenger works if u download it to computer and then synch. to bb,

However if u download directly with BB, it gives error.

Does this use the data plan on T-Mobile?

Yes, you need the data plan to run Yahoo Messenger, Google Talk, and a slew of others. Anything that uses the internet basically....(except for T-Mobile's OZ chatting app).

Curiously on Cingular we can download the msngr but we cannpt use it? Disclaimer right on the site says is not operational with Cingular.....

And Cingular has NO PLANS to ever enable it to work. You will not get the service book from them for this. Cingular does NOT CARE what the users want....

for Cingular or Tmobile? If it is for Cingular IT WONT WORK, and it never will Cingular said.
