I am with TMO and want to get an 8700G which would be a nice upgrade form my 7100t.

I was wondering if I were to get a 8700G and take it to a Cingular office and ask them to do a show down between models do you think they would do it. I would have to do it with in 10-14 days of purchase.

I think the only failure with this would be if the Cingular store would be in a bad TMO area.

Has anyone or can anyone do a side by side between these two models? I would like to compare internet and speed of downloading or uploading email.

I have both sitting right here on my desk and have really not seen any significant differences between the speed of the two. I like the T-Mobile one better, it doesn't interfere with my (land) phone, cell phone, or television at home like the Cingular one does!

Ha! I wish I could get my hands on 250 more!!!!!!!!!!! We're in the midst of the big debate - to replace or not replace the 7230s. At least as the bb admin I got mine first (ok after the IT director and network manager...)
