Default Amazon Rebate - 05-24-2006, 05:59 AM

So it's been well over 6 weeks since I purchased my 8700C with the amazon rebate.

They had that $150 rebate offer running several weeks ago..
I was wondering, have any of you received it yet, I've sent 3 emails to the to people at www.rebateshq.com/amazon-rebates
but still nothing.

Wondering if any of you have received it yet ? Because I was really expecting to get my rebate, with a 2 year contract the phone should be free!

Were you aware that you'll have to wait 12-15 weeks (perhaps even after 180 days of retention)?

I've always received my rebates from Amazon. However, they do exhaust their stated waiting periods.

I had the same deal through Amazon. Purchased my phone on Jan 26, 2006 and completed the next day. I just received my $150 check the first week of May. Came much sooner than I expected...

Oh wow.
I thought you receive your rebate within 6 weeks after you can't cancel your plan from refund without a penalty.

Still disapointed in them not sending me a email reply back.

The service at amazon is top notch. My 8700g BB has been acting up so I contacted them today and they put a new in the mail overnight. I just have to make sure that I return the bad one in 30 days. Can't get much better than that. BTW they have it on sale for 174.99 now with the same 200.00 rebate.

I think what happens is that if they don't get their commission from T-mobile they know something is amidst.

Wirelessly posted (8700c: BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102 UP.Browser/5.0.3.3)

I bought mine from Amazon at the end of December when the final price of the phone would have been $150. When I noticed they were offering it for free at the end of January, I contacted them. They refunded me the $150 I had already paid and I received my rebate at the end of April. I will definitely buy from Amazon again.
