Default Duplicate emails on my 8700? - 05-24-2006, 01:02 PM

Maybe you guys can help me...

I have my mac mail forwarded to my blackberry.net accout. Also , to access my mac mail on my Powerbook, I have it set to stay on the server after the mail has been fowarded. This results in duplicate emails sent to my BB. Anybody experience this and know a workaround, or why this is happening?

are the duplicates arriving at the same time? do you have your mac account added to your handheld (to pull email every 15 mins) as well as the forwarding rule?

No, the duplicates are arriving to my BB about 10 min after my mac checks for mail... and I only have my mac account set to forward.

so you don't have it set up on the BIS as well...hmm...it would be an issue w/ the forwarding rule but i don't know enough about them to help out - sorry

have you tried deleting the rule and setting it back up again?

Do you just collect the one email address on the BIS account? My thought is if you collect more than one, and one of those distributes to the .mac account, then that would cause your duplicate.
