Question 8700r Arriving Soon ~ Synchronization Question - 05-26-2006, 11:32 AM

My new 8700r from Roger's will be arriving soon, and I have a question in terms of what Emails will be 'pushed' to my new Blackberry:

If I understand BIS 2.0 correctly, it will only push Email that arrives in Outlook's Inbox, correct? I normally have all my Email arriving and then being immediately sorted into various Folders, but I can set those Rules so that I leave a copy of all the messages in the Inbox...instead of 'moving' all those Emails into their individual Folders, I will 'copy' those messages to their individual Folders. That should leave all my important Email in the Inbox, and hopefully only those messages will get 'pushed' to my Blackberry.

Am I headed in the right direction?

Thanks for your help.

Nick

You can adjust your filters in Outlook to forward a copy of the email to your blackberry BIS address before it is sorted into your Folders. You should be able to do this without making copies.
