Default Blackberry Device Admin Unlock? - 05-26-2006, 06:12 PM

Hi,

Was wondering if there was a way to set an admin password (maybe via Policy) to unlock a Blackberry device just in case a user locks it with the radio off and the password was forgotten. Yes, users really do these things. There doesn't seem to be any way around wiping the device at that point.

Best Regards,
Chuaale

Nope - if they've turned the radio off, there really isn't much you can do without wiping it out...

Actually, it would be nice if there was a way to have an admin password for the handheld that could be set via policy. One of our guys is going to be suggesting it to RIM the next time they talk.
