Hey all,

I did a few searches on the forums but was unable to find a solution, so I apologize if I missed one. I got my 8700c two days ago. I had backed up my 7100g and then restored everything to the 8700 and things were working fine. Then today I sent a few SMS messages and noticed they were not showing up when I go to "Messages". The incoming messages were showing up, but not the outgoing. When I go to "View Folder" and go to the sent SMS, they are there. I have done tests and people are receiving them. Also, when I open a received SMS, the one that i sent to that person is not displayed like it normally is. I made sure that in options the "Hide outgoing" was set to no. I have tried power cycling, with no results. I would really appreciate any help.

Go to your messages general settings and make sure its set to no for hiding sent messages.

Do your sent emails show?

Unfortunately I won't be starting a new job (and thus a data plan) for a few weeks yet, so I haven't sent any emails. The strange part is, the outgoing texts from yesterday and the day before show up.

So they show up a day later?

No. Previous to today, they showed up instantly, like always.

Still not able to see your sent items?

Actually, I took out and put back in the SIM card and they showed up. Thank you.
