Default Track Stocks on Paris Stock Exchanges? - 06-06-2006, 10:08 AM

Hi everyone,

Complete NEWBIE here... just got my shiney new BB 8700 today.

One thing I really need is a way to track 3 tickers on the Paris stock exchange

Would anyone have any ideas... I've seen the threads pointing to BBToday and Pocketday (although people seem to be having issues with the later).

Anyone know the code for the Paris SEC?

THANKS!!!!

Give me the name (or ticker code) of one of the stocks and I will see if PocketDay can track it.

Hey Thanks! That would be great!

I need to track: (all on the PAR exchange)
1) CAC40 -> ticker is "$FR:QS0010997359"
2) Societe BIC -> ticker is "FR:FR0000120966"
3) Danone -> ticker is "FR:FR0000120644"

Cheers!

There are a lot of Danone tickers on the Paris Stock Exchange - most of them are probably warrant issues. The main one seems to be BN.PA and PocketDay is definitely tracking it. Current price is 93 Euros, up 0.6 Euros on the day. Not sure if Societe BIC is BB.PA, but if it is PocketDay is tracking that (currently at 51.05 Euros). IF CAC40 is "CAC40 INDEXIS (C40F6.PA)" then it also tracks that although it appears to be worth zero.
I don't think any North American quote system is going to use the numerical codes that you provided. I found these codes by searching on Yahoo Finance.
