Default Help Network Unavailable Google Map 8700c - 06-07-2006, 01:03 PM

I am unable to get Google Map Mobile to work on my 8700c. I keep getting the error: Network Unavailable. Both the Cingular Browser and the Blackberry browser work correctly. Also, Berry 411 works. Any suggestings?

I would suggest deleting and reinstalling.

i would check your firewall and application permissions.... options, advanced, applications, highlight google local and press the clickwheel and edit permissions.. once in there you can reset your firewall prompts and change the permissions to try and narrow down the problem..

i had the same problem and in my case i just accidentily denied the request when it asked if it could connect to the network.

if you're on a BES, you need to turn on the service "mobile data service" on the server

I deleted Google Map Mobile and downloaded it again. Now it works. Thanks for the help.
