The alarm and auto on/off functions on my 8700g have a mind of their own. The alarm functions even when set to off and the device still turns itself on even when the auto on/off feature has been disabled and the device turned off. I have tried to fix this by removing the battery (several times). I realise I can mute the alarm sound to get around one of these problems, but that's not really the point. Suggestions welcome. Thank you.
