06-18-2006, 11:57 AM
Is there any way to set calender events that have already passed to NOT appear in the agenda view?

Doesn't seem like it. You can press "T" to jump to today, but it will still show passed events.
Or you could load the
Today
theme. Its home screen shows you two upcoming events, never shows past events.

Is there any way to set how long events remain in the phone/outlook calender?

Under "Options" within the calendar on your blackberry- change the "Keep Appointments" setting.
I think that's what you mean anyway

I am running my blackberry's through a BES, are you a BES or a BIS users? This may have something to do with it, but I couldn't say for definate.

I have just BIS service.
I don't understand why past events appear in the agenda... shouldn't it just show current and upcoming events?

Check the options within the Intellisync portion of the desktop manager. You'll find an option about "future" events.

And why do events I delete in the device do not delete in Outlook?

Are you using the Desktop Manager / Intellisync program to sync your BB and your Outlook?

Yea well when I use the BB Intellysync program it syncs my memos, tasks, calenders, and contacts!
For some reason, if I delete events in the BB it wont delete in Outlook, or past events if I had changed details it won't sync...

Check the options in Intellisync - Handheld vs PC wins...
