Sorry if this has been answered. I looked. Honest, I did. I am the proud new owner of an 8700c and I need an IM prog that will allow my wife and I to IM each other. She will be using a Mac with iChat. I read on several IM apps but and unclear which will work with the Mac/iChat. Thanks for any help.

iChat is AIM compatible, so you should be able to chat with her using any of the IM clients that connect to the AIM network.

AIM compatible, but it uses a jabber client from what I read. Ramble's web sight said it will not work well if at all with iChat. That is what got me searching.

I used IM+ with great success to talk to iChat and AIM users -- no jabber client needed.
